The Story Behind Sara's Home
My cousin, Sara Guerrero passed away from small intestine cancer on November 25, 2006. She was only 36 yrs old. Sara's dream was not to fly oversees, makes tons of money, or be famous. All she wanted was a family of her own. Sara never married nor had any children. She was beautiful, smart, sweet, and very charismatic. Her long battle with cancer drained my Uncle's family's hearts, hopes, and pocket books. It tore the family apart. Sara is home now. She's with her spiritual family in heaven. I want Sara to still have a home and a family here.
It's my personal commitment to raise the funds needed to launch Sara's Home and share Sara's story. Who she was, what she experienced during the last days of her life, and what she stood for. At the same time, I want to make sure that no other family has to go through the emotional hardship of losing their home during this already difficult time of cancer.
This fund is intended to help families dealing with cancer not lose their home (to foreclosure, bank repossesion, and/or bankruptcy) due to choosing to pay unexpected medical expenses that arise in the efforts of saving their loved ones lives.
The methods being planned include free help with loan modifications, refinancing, donations to bring cancer patient's home mortgage up to date, and investor/owner-financing.
We are seeking real estate investors and professionals to partner with us on different levels.
